Impressions from Takashi Murakami exhibition
Salsa jeans, Zara shirt, Pimpkie vest, Top shop hat, Zara flats
I love Qatar. I don't really know how
long we will stay here. But I'm trying to catch any opportunity to visit interesting
places, exhibitions and to see something new here. This time to Doha came famous
Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. He works in fine arts media—such as painting
and sculpture—as well as what is conventionally considered commercial media
—fashion, merchandise, and animation— and is known for blurring the line
between high and low arts. Perhaps one of the most distinct features of the
exhibition was Murakami’s largest painting to date, Arhat Painting, stretching
100 meters and wrapping around three sides of the main gallery space. Most spectacularly,
for me was that the artist depicted himself as a larger than life inflatable
creature, greeting visitors at the entrance of the exhibition, turning the show
into a giant self-portrait.
Another thing, which surprised me about
Murakami, the news about his collaboration with fashion house Louis Vuitton for
a range of handbags and wallets. In 2003, Takashi Murakami with Marc
Jacobs masterminded the new Monogram Multicolored canvas range of handbags and
accessories. This range includes the monograms of the standard Monogram Canvas,
but in 33 different colors on either a white or black background. (The classic
canvas features gold monograms on a brown background.) Murakami also created
the Cherry Blossom pattern; in which smiling cartoon faces in the middle of
pink and yellow flowers are sporadically placed atop the Monogram Canvas. This
pattern appeared on a limited number of pieces. Do you remember them?
( Actually I've never liked them ;)
Well, Louis Vuitton and Murakami have collaborated again, coming up with
a new series of little wallets in a multicolored print that, let’s be
honest, looks almost exactly like the colorful 2003 print that was such a
departure from the normal brown-and-gold LV colors.
Of course celeb already rockin’ those bags and one of the first, was spotted with the Monogramouflage Speedy 35, is one of my favorites ~ Rihanna!
What do you think about the new look of classical Louis Vuitton bags?

I’m so happy with a trends this summer. There are so many to choose from. But I was thinking why actually not combine them together?;) So, I decided to wear purple plissé skirt with neon shirt and metallic shoes.

Black&Neon
Zara shirt, Zara pants, H&M necklace, Zara heels, Ray-ban sunglasses
Neon is probably my fashion favorite for summer. Black and neon are total opposites in the color world, but they work so
well when paired together. Wearing bright neon with sleek black clothing
and accessories not only creates fantastic contrast, but also makes for
a daring look that’s sure to get you noticed.

Red outfit
What about to add some red on our outfits, confess that a few months ago I did not like this color at all, but I start to love it because it looks great as part of our attire, or is not it? In red you will be always in center of attention.
